RPM Indigenous Music Culture

RPM.fm is a new music platform to discover the most talented Indigenous musicians from across Turtle Island and beyond.

RPM brings together musicians, fans, and listeners by providing a centralized place for emerging and established Indigenous, First Nations, Aboriginal, Inuit, and Métis musicians to share and promote their work.

We curate, interview, and profile Indigenous artists from around the world to help bring them an international audience, and to give music lovers the opportunity to discover the very best of Indigenous Music Culture.

The Victoria Native Friendship Center provides a variety of programs and services catered to the needs of urban Aboriginal people.

Guide to Aboriginal Organiations in B.C

The Guide is a provincial resource listing of 800 community-based services and organizations referenced in 1100 entries–most of which are Aboriginal controlled and operate on a not-for-profit basis. It is based on the most current information available at the time of printing.

The Guide is also a means by which other community service organizations, government ministries and agencies, and non-Aboriginal citizens may become knowledgeable about the scope of Aboriginal services and organizations.

Victoria Cool Aid Society

The Victoria Cool Aid Society has been building hope, lives and community in the Capital Region for over 40 years, since 1968, through a wide range of programs including supported housing, community health and dental services, emergency shelter, mental health and employment services, and the Downtown Community Centre. Cool Aid focuses its services for adults who are homeless or in need of help and provides assistance to over 10,000 individuals every year.
